How to find us

The Wirtgen headquarters are located in Windhagen/Rhineland-Palatinate, approx. 30 km from Bonn and in the immediate vicinity of the A3 motorway between Cologne and Frankfurt.

By car

• For navigation systems

In most navigation system the „Reinhard-Wirtgen-Straße“ is non-existent. Therefore please insert „Hohner Straße 2, 53578 Windhagen“ alternatively. Koordinates: 50° 39′ N, 7° 21′ O

• Approaching on the A3 motorway from Cologne and A3 motorway from Frankfurt

Leave the A3 at the junction signposted “Bad Honnef/Linz”. Turn right at the motorway exit towards Asbach/Eitorf. At the traffic light turn right again towards Windhagen. Follow the road for approx. 1 km – you are now entering the village of Windhagen. Continue straight ahead until you are passing the company premises and, finally, the main entrance. Take the fi rst exit of the roundabout and then turn right again to our visitors car park.

By truck

• Via gate 1 (Main gate)

Travel as described above, but don't turn right to our visitors car park. Instead drive straight ahead for 100 m. Turn left into the street which leads to our factory and drive straight ahead until you reach the gatekeeper. He will help you with further instructions.

• Via gate 2

Travel as described above until entering the village of Windhagen. Continue straight ahead for approx. 500 m. Turn right into „Hallerbacher Straße“. After approx. 100 m you will see „Gate 2“ on the right handside. The gatekeeper will give you further instructions.

By train

If you travel by train the rail stations Montabaur or Siegburg are situated nearby. After your rail journey we recommend to continue travelling by taxi or rental car. The distance between Montabaur and Windhagen is approx. 50 km and approx. 25 km from Siegburg to Windhagen.

By airplane

If you travel by airplane we recommend landing at the airport Cologne/Bonn (distance approx. 40 km) or at the airport Frankfurt (distance approx. 135 km). Afterwards please take a taxi or a rental car to get to Windhagen.
