Cold recycler WR 2500 S

High-performance cold recycler for recycling entire carriageway structures while adding various binding agents, such as cement, bitumen emulsion or foamed bitumen. The WR 2500 S is also eminently suitable for stabilizing non-cohesive soils with lime or cement. It is optionally available with a working width of 3,048 mm.

100% power! The WR 2500 S is granulating the existing pavement while mixing in pre-spread cement at the same time. Emulsion and water are directly injected into the recycler's mixing chamber from tanker trucks.

Producing a hydraulically bound base layer in Barbados: A cement slurry is produced in the WM 1000 slurry mixer and is then injected into the recycler's milling and mixing chamber in precisely metered quantities. The WM 1000 is coupled to the WR 2500 S via a pushrod and is pushed by the recycler.

Cold recycling with foamed bitumen in Italy: The WR 2500 S shown here is granulating the asphalt pavement at full depth in one single machine pass.

The WR 2500 S shown here is rehabilitating a heavily damaged road on the slopes of Mount Lee, not far from the world-famous "HOLLYWOOD" sign. Even in this steep and winding terrain, the machine has ample power for recycling while simultaneously pushing the bitumen tanker.

When recycling with foamed bitumen, the quality of the bitumen foam can always be checked via a test nozzle on the recycler.
