The W 50 shown here is working without conveyor while repairing the surface course in a residential area. The milled material is left in the cut to be picked up by a suction sweeper later.

Perfect ergonomics: Ample legroom on the operator's platform of the W 50 enables even tall persons to work in a comfortable sitting position. The steering wheel can be pivoted to permit operation of the machine in both standing and sitting position. The main control elements have been integrated into the right-hand armrest.

The right-hand rear support wheel is swivelled in front of the milling drum in a few swift moves, enabling the W 50 to mill flush to kerbs or road fixtures at full working depth.

Performing pirouettes on the road: Milling around manhole covers is "child's play" for the W  50. The small milling machine owes its tremendous manoeuvrability to the large locking angle of its front wheels.
