Removing the supplementary weights reduces the overall weight of the W 35 DC by as much as 1,300 kg, making the "lightweight" an ideal candidate for the rehabilitation of building floors with limited bearing capacity or of park decks.

The right-hand rear wheel has been swivelled in front of the drum, enabling the small milling machine W 35 DC to mill the pavement flush to kerb. The gleam of light on the wall is proof that the bright, freely positionable lamp perfectly illuminates the area between the machine and the wall.

Removing the pavement around manhole covers or hydrants is a special field of application for the versatile W  35 DC.
