High-performance cold milling machine mounted on crawler tracks for the removal of pavement structures on roads and airports at full depth. The milled material is loaded via the machine's two-stage, front loading conveyor system.
A special polyurethane compound makes crawler track pads from Wirtgen extremely durable and tear-resistant. Their coating effectively prevents damage to asphalt surfaces or kerbstones.
A hydraulic flow divider acts as an engageable differential lock, ensuring equal distribution of the oil to the four crawler tracks. This anti-slip control system permits maximum advance speed in any given working situation.
The crawler tracks have a large steering angle, making the machine extremely manoeuvrable. In addition to the main control panel, a second panel at ground level enables the second crew member to adjust the locking angle of the rear crawler tracks to the current working situation.
Steering is effected via a fixed track rod that is disengaged mechanically from the machine's height adjustment, ensuring excellent directional stability and preventing highly abrasive edge loading of the crawler tracks at the same time.
