Cold milling machine W 200

Simplicity is the guiding principle applied to the operation of the W 200. The control panels left and right have identical features. The number of controls is small, too, as the WIDRIVE machine management system takes care of many tasks previously performed by the operator.

The panorama design with slender, recessed chassis contours – or simply “wasp waist” – offers perfect visibility of the milling edge on both sides, thus enabling precise steering of the W 200.

The canopy provides outstanding protection against rain, wind or sun exposure. In addition, it can be moved to either side complete with front and rear screen so as to elegantly negotiate obstacles at the height of the operator’s platform, such as trees, street lamps or traffic signs.

Featuring innovative extraction technology, the vacuum cutting system (VCS) improves air quality and visibility, thus significantly increasing the level of comfort in the working environment of both the machine operator and ground crew members.

Optimal, uniform traction is ensured by the ISC track control system: electronic traction control minimizes the slip of individual crawler tracks even when milling extremely hard asphalt pavements, and ensures powerful machine operation.

Start milling without losing time thanks to PTS: the machine is lowered quickly after switching on the automatic levelling system. In the process, the W 200 retains its parallel alignment without requiring major manual adjustments by the operator.
