Slipform paver SP 500 Vario

Multi-purpose slipform paver for paving concrete slabs at continuously adjustable working widths from 2.00 m to 4.00 m. The working width can be extended to up to 6.00 m by means of extension elements. The SP 500 Vario can be equipped with a dowel bar inserter (DBI) and finishing equipment.

Paving a canal in inset application: The mould below the machine frame has been specially manufactured for this project.

The SP 500 shown here has been retracted to its minimum overall width, enabling it to pave this traffic parapet.

Paving track profiles in a tunnel: The SP 500 shown here is working without a rear right crawler track. Their experience and know-how enabled the Wirtgen engineers to find a feasible solution even for this requirement. The customer is using a wireless levelling control system without stringlines.
