The tractor-towed stabilizer WS 250 impresses with its simple design and high efficiency. Height-adjustable side plates enable the mixing rotor to penetrate the soil right down to the specified working depth when commencing the stabilizing operation.
The side plates glide on the surface instead of digging into the ground. This feature prevents them from being pulled through the recycled material, sapping power needlessly. The side plates can be lifted via hydraulic cylinders, if required.
Belt drives with automatic belt tensioners are arranged on both sides of the milling and mixing rotor. This dual drive concept translates engine power into optimum milling performance.
The eccentric drum gearbox is above ground level even when the stabilizer is working at the maximum milling depth of 500 mm. This design minimizes the risk of soiling and enables the gearbox to work with maximum reliability.
Hydraulic cylinders and springs at the rear drum flap guarantee optimum contact pressure of the scraper blade. This design not only results in an optimum quantity of construction material mix in the mixing chamber, but also produces an even surface behind the stabilizer.
