Compact cold recycler for recycling entire carriageway structures while adding various binding agents, such as bitumen emulsion or foamed bitumen. Its high engine power and working width of 2.40 m, which is standard worldwide, make the machine eminently suitable also for soil stabilization.
The microprocessor-controlled injection system is capable of drawing water, bitumen emulsion, and hot bitumen for the production of foamed bitumen from preceding tanker trucks to inject them into the cold recycler's mixing chamber in precisely metered quantities.
Binding agents are added via special injection bars in accordance with the machine's advance speed. The injection bars distribute water or bitumen emulsion evenly across the full working width.
The operator keys in the specified quantities of the binding agents to be added at the clearly structured control panel of the electronically governed injection system, which is entirely controlled by the microprocessor.
The injection nozzles are cleaned automatically, thus ensuring process safety. Tappets clean the nozzles in the injection bars at pre-determined, short intervals. The tappets can also be used for removing hard deposits in the drum housing.
Non-contact flow meters govern the quantities of hot bitumen, water and bitumen emulsion to be added. A mass flow meter determines the hot bitumen quantities, while volumetric flow meters are available for water and bitumen emulsion.
